What We Look For In Our Members

Here at Blue Helix we're looking for members who not only want to progress but also want to aid each other with progression. As a team, we can provide not only the support to ensure success but also that no one gets left behind. We strive to include everyone at every given chance so that we prove what a Free Company is really about while having fun and socializing with each other. As a LGBTQ and Allies Free Company we make every effort to welcome everyone and do our best to ensure everyone is at ease. While our core members are mostly Bear Gaymers in NA we're welcoming to all LGBTQ and open minded straight allies that wish to join us.

To become a part of Blue Helix you need to have that same dedication, after all we are a team and we strive for the best and have fun doing it. A member needs to be actively engaged in day to day activities such as using your time to help and progress both yourself and the Free Company. This ranges from gathering materials to make new gear to learning the ins and outs of your jobs in order to be the best.

We all play differently, and we all enjoy the game in different ways, therefore we don't enforce mandatory events nor we expect obligatory participation, and we'll publish our plans in the forums.
A member has to want to improve themselves and not wait around to be handed things. Taking the time to learn and practice what rotations can be used to make their actions more effective and when to not over DPS is an example of this. That said, a member can never be about themselves. All members are here to help if you have any questions or need help finishing something. With this, a member needs to be able to take constructive criticism and follow direction. Also, patience is a virtue; difficult content is difficult for a reason, but working together and having patience with ourselves and each other we can tackle anything.

We are all mature adults and so should act as mature adults. And while we can stray conversationally at times into more adult themes, we also maintain a level of respect for one another.

Members can identify a main job, but are required to have other jobs they can play geared and available to make themselves and the Free Company as versatile as possible.
